I loved everything about this retreat. There was a really special balance of therapeutic and creative practice, with a nourishing infrastructure (healthy yummy food, gorgeous surrounds and accommodation).

TK's sessions were playful and deeply nourishing as well as provocation for deeper understanding. I learned lots about myself that couldn't have been shown to me any other way, and I developed a beautiful sense of the supportive and loving nature of the other women on the retreat. This really helped me feel safe to open myself to whatever was being asked.

Alice has so much to offer as a songwriting teacher, I wouldn't know where to begin my praise. It seems like she is highly intuitive and so tuned into all of us to know exactly how to turn on the songwriting bug. I witnessed every single person write a song, without exception and without necessarily having done it ever before.

Are you ready to chill out and get creative with a group of like-minded women? Songweaver at Sangsurya Resort will help you find the song writing spark. Throw in beautiful surroundings and fabulous food, it's a retreat made in heaven. I've never laughed so much and felt so nurtured. This was a perfect opportunity to find myself again. Yoga, songwriting and dance with talented women. I've never felt so connected.

It takes great care, skill and awareness to create a space which is safe 'enough' and brave 'enough' for people to be vulnerable, open, creative and honest and in the process produce beautiful songs that we all need right now.  Songweaver did this and more.

Songweaver is extraordinary and exceptional! The alchemy of songwriting, biodanza, singing and performance took us into a deep process to discover what we really wanted to say. Supported by skilled talented teachers and a group of amazing women allowed me to explore what was holding me back and meet it through song. Songweaver was nourishment, inspiration, courageous fun held and crafted with care. Thank you for this rare opportunity.

The alchemy of biodanza to bring release and openness along with songwriting to explore feelings and themes emerging, Shelly's sessions honed voices and gave expression and release through singing. Yoga grounded and brought us into our bodies.

The evening sessions provided a focus for bringing all the learnings together whilst having pure unadulterated fun.

Pam created a space of warmth and safety so that we could access our creativity and feelings in a way that was so enlightening and freeing. What a week. Just a perfect balance of great teachers and belly laugh fun and releasing old emotional patterns. What can I say? Just that I will be back for the next one. Wild horses would not keep me away.

Songweaver Retreat was like nothing else I've experienced. I was hesitant at first about it being women-only, but I think that was what made it extra special. There's truly nothing like bringing 20ish women together and showing them how to write medicine in songs, to sing from their heart, and to unravel themselves through dance. Please run this retreat again!

Songweaver. From the welcome on arrival, everything felt special. Set in beautiful lush gardens, the sound of birds singing in the rainforest, fresh air and views to the horizon - a perfect retreat to enliven creativity. The tutors are warm, open and highly skilled artists. They and my fellow participants opened opportunities for great insight, creativity and a shared intimacy that made each moment special. And then there was the divine food. OMG! Songweaver was a purely nourishing experience on every level and I look forward to future events.

Songweaver has been the most expansive retreat that I have ever been on. The depth of feeling that I experienced was astounding. I wasn't expecting it! I feel that I've shifted in my energy & am able to grow more in confidence in my singing, performance & songwriting abilities.
