Sangsurya is a retreat centre nestled in the peaceful hinterland of Byron Bay
Sangsurya’s buildings are set amongst sub-tropical gardens, walking trails and a myriad of bird life. During your retreat you can relax by the ph-balanced swimming pool, enjoy ocean views and coastal breezes, stroll through native Australian rainforest or simply rest and meditate in the many little alcoves dotted around the property.
Sangsurya Retreat Centre features a large Thai-style timber meditation and instruction training hall, a workshop space, treatment rooms, and spacious dining and lounge areas. Traditional Indian and Asian decor make each space distinctively enchanting. Mosaic tiled bathrooms and pathways feature throughout the property displaying an artistic and joyful flair.

Accommodation at Sangsurya Retreat Centre is in Thai style hand-built timber-floored houses and cabins. Bedrooms are uniquely positioned amidst sub-tropical gardens and give a lovely sense of privacy and tranquillity. Each room has been individually designed and furnished to have its own charming ambience. All are heated, air-conditioned and have ceiling fans.

Songweaver is a fully-catered retreat. You will enjoy delicious vegetarian meals every day - breakfast, lunch, and dinner - as well as morning and afternoon tea. If you have any special dietary requirements, you can let us know when you register.
NB: Day 1 includes dinner only, and Day 6 includes breakfast only.
